Understanding the whole person is a key part of my practice. That approach allows me to arrive at a more precise diagnosis and a thoughtfully tailored treatment plan. I achieve this through a thorough initial assessment and ongoing follow-up visits that explore more than just symptoms, including personal history, lifestyle, and social factors.

The treatment plan is developed collaboratively with the patient, and I take time to educate them about the available options so they can make informed choices that feel right. I strive to minimize the number of medications a person needs and I monitor closely for contraindications, interactions, and side effects, while also considering other medical conditions that could affect care.

Psychiatry is more than medication alone — it is a therapeutic relationship built on trust. It provides a place where you can be heard and understood without judgment, and where you can receive genuine support and thoughtful feedback you can rely on.
